Liber8 PDX

LIBER8 PDX stands as a bold statement of resistance and resilience in the face of Portland's deeply racist history and its moniker of "America's whitest city." LIBER8 PDX has been organized with the Portland Black experience front and center, and embodies a commitment to showcasing black artistry and centering the experience of black attendees.

In partnership with Portland's Black and queer led, @oriartgallery, (nestled in the historically black Mississippi district), LIBER8 PDX will amplify Black talents, stories, and aesthetics, all of which have been marginalized in contemporary mainstream electronic music narratives.

LIBER8 PDX will feature extraordinary house and techno sets from Dj Scs, Diartha, spyder and AREL. Attendees will partake in the collective reclamation of these genres as celebrations of black identity and creative expression.

This event has been curated with extreme intention and serves as a celebration of Black Liberation. Attendance is by INVITATION ONLY. If you're interested in attending but have not been invited, please reach out to @soulhouseportland via Instagram for consideration.
